Lochnell Arms Hotel - Oban

Pleasant people are working. It's nestled in a nice building with great and gorgeous location on the official cycle path.

The restaurant was really nice with good food, I tried appetising dishes. En suite bathrooms, that included a walk-in shower.

Although everything was fine, some of the staff were quite busy.

The setting was peaceful, adjacent to the sustrans cycle route, the outskirts of Onan, and Oban buses.

Just a perfect match for a stopover in Oban with good value for money. The owners really went out of their way to accommodate our need for an extra bed by rearranging the furniture. Make sure to check the breakfast hours if you're in a hurry.

The shower cubicle in the room was quite small. The limited dinner menu left something to be desired. Options were sparse, which might not cater to everyone's tastes. I found the bar area a tad cramped at busy times, affecting the overall vibe when trying to unwind.

The views from my room were amazing, really enjoyable to wake up to. The food in the restaurant impressed me, especially the breakfast with a variety of options. Staff provided friendly and personalized service throughout my visit. The room was comfortable and warm. A few areas needed attention, though. Some furniture looked worn, and the bathroom could have used better cleaning, especially around the edges. There was also some noise from the bar area in the evening, which disturbed my sleep a bit. Still, overall, I felt the staff's efforts made a significant difference.

Fine views and hearty breakfasts!

The view from the dining area is really awesome! The host is super friendly and whips up some great cooked breakfasts. Finding our room was kinda tricky with those steep, dark stairs-def not for everyone. Our room was tiny, so not much space for luggage.

The staff provided a warm welcome and made our stay enjoyable. The shower in the room lacked pressure. Lovely terrace view and fantastic food options, including local seafood. It can get noisy between rooms due to poor soundproofing. Enjoyed playing darts in the cozy bar area.

Dinner at Lochnell Arms was a steal amongst Oban's culinary gems, and the cozy bar area was perfect for winding down. Plus, they catered to my special diet like champions!

Breakfast could be improved. It was a lukewarm cup of coffee and an overcooked breakfast that left me wanting more. The shower cubicle was tiny, not suited for anyone larger.

I was captivated by the amazing views over the shimmering loch from my balcony. Each meal was a delicious experience, especially the hearty breakfast that set the perfect tone for the day. Plus, the owners were pretty good, family-like atmosphere.
